X-ray imaging of teeth in 2D mode (orthopan)

allows us to make a general assessment of the condition of the teeth and jaws.

3D imaging of teeth

Increases the likelihood of making a correct clinical diagnosis

Such an image reveals much more information about the anatomy and structural changes in the tissues. 3D imaging of teeth allows for more accurate treatment planning and prediction of the final result of therapies. We will analyze the 3D image of the teeth, clearly present your dental condition to you in an understandable way, and then we will discuss further treatment.

Most common use

In implantology, we determine the amount, dimensions and structure of the bone at the site where we plan to insert the implant.

We see the orientation, placement of the teeth and the position of the nerves during the surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth near the nerve in the lower jaw.

To detect various inflammatory processes (granulomas, cysts, etc.) that you may not yet feel, but are present.

To analyze the appearance of the canal system in the root, which is especially important when re-treating or complex dental treatment.

To diagnose problems in the sinuses and their possible connection with the teeth.

To provide high-quality 2D and 3D X-ray images, we use a modern dental imaging device - Planmeca Promax 3D. This allows us to obtain accurate images with a very low radiation dose and with various advanced functions.
